Jonathan E. Nugent - Director
Jonathan has over 25 years professional experience in the construction industry as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Construction Contract Consultant.

In his primary profession of Quantity Surveying, Jonathan is of the highest calibre with experience in all aspects and branches of the Construction Industry including major private sector, public sector, railways and civil engineering works.

As a specialist in Construction Contracts and Construction Law, Jonathan is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has formal training in adjudication and arbitration, having completed and passed courses and examinations set by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Jonathan holds a Diploma in Arbitration and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. A member of the Adjudication Society, an active participant in adjudication and the development of adjudication, Jonathan has demonstrated his tenacious expertise in acting as party representative on numerous occasions in adjudications. Jonathan has successfully represented clients in over thirty adjudications and is qualified to act as an Adjudicator, Arbitrator or Mediator.

Ian J. Purser - Director
Ian has over 25 years professional experience in the construction industry as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Construction Contract Consultant.

Ian has extensive experience in dealing with a variety of projects for clients, contractors and sub-contractors, within traditional Quantity Surveying, complex Contractual Issues and in Dispute Resolution. He is familiar with many forms of contract from JCT to ICE and has detailed knowledge of standard amendments to these forms to both main and sub-contract documentation. Ian heads the Preventative element of Arbicon ADR and has presented many seminars on the HGCRA 1996, JCT forms and the implementation of risk management systems to minimise the likelihood of disputes and conflict.

A Construction Contract and Construction Law specialist, Ian is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has been formally trained in both adjudication and arbitration, having completed and passed courses and examinations set by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Ian is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the The Society of Construction Law. An active participant in all aspects of ADR, Ian has completed numerous successful adjudications and is suitably qualified to act as an Adjudicator and can also be appointed as an Arbitrator or Mediator. He has achieved success in gaining a Certificate in the Adjudication Masterclass, which is recognised by the RICS, CIArb, RIBA, ICE and AICA.
